Kira Groves, MD

Dr. Kira Groves received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, LA. After spending a year in microbiology research and teaching, Dr. Groves moved on to William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS where she earned her Doctorate of Osteopathy. She then completed her Family Medicine residency at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton, NC. Dr. Groves is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

Dr. Groves is a transplant from Lake Charles, Louisiana. She brought with her a love for cooking, and one of her favorite things to do is share a home-made meal with her husband Dr. Ben Groves and their three children. In any spare moments, she also enjoys reading and gardening.

Dr. Groves is passionate about helping people achieve their health goals. She believes that doctors and patients achieve the most when they build strong, collaborative relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Dr. Groves welcomes people of all ages and identities in her practice and seeks to help each person be as well as they can be.
